Erofili

Erofili is a double room which is located on one of the highest levels of the hotel. It has a small balcony overlooking the church of St. Nickolas, the imposing rock and the entire traditional settlement. It also features a decorative fireplace. It is very close to the hotel’s stunning common roof terrace.

Erofili is a tragedy by Giorgios Chortatsis, and the protagonist it was named after. It is the most widely known tragedy of Cretan literature. It was probably written around 1595 (since it refers to the plague epidemic that devastated Crete between 1592 and 1595) and was first published in Venice in 1637.
